About

I am a Ph.D. researcher at the Indian Institute of Technology Indore, working in experimental high-energy physics. My research focuses on the properties of strongly interacting matter produced in heavy-ion collisions, with emphasis on heavy-flavor probes and the transport dynamics of the quark–gluon plasma within the ALICE experiment at CERN.

Research

My research focuses on the properties of QCD matter under extreme conditions, combining phenomenological modeling with data-driven approaches to study the underlying dynamics of strongly interacting systems.

  • Heavy-flavor probes — Transport and diffusion of charm quarks and open-charm hadrons, and fluctuations in the charmed sector as probes of the medium.
  • QCD thermodynamics — Thermodynamic and transport properties of strongly interacting matter, including the effects of magnetic fields and medium interactions.
  • Machine learning in HEP — Data-driven identification of heavy-flavor decay channels and separation of prompt and non-prompt components.
